Sometimes a drawing lies in the sketchbook for some time, waiting for the right time to spark a need to be painted. I was going through a sketchbook looking for a blank page when this drawing caught my eye. I had never painted it, and suddenly I could see the finished piece. The hush of Winter often brings out the warm melody of the silence. 

½ sheet watercolor painting (20" x 27" or vice versa) on Arches 140 LB rough watercolor paper. Ships flat, not rolled with plain white mat.
