'Mountain Reflections'

Mountain Reflections - Inspired by a drawing made at Silver Lake in Utah’s Wasatch Mountains . With this watercolor I wanted to talk about  the pale cliffs and wooded slopes as they dance and merge with their reflection. Loose washes and broken edges suggest shifting light and the quiet stillness of mountain water.

½ sheet watercolor painting (20" x 27" or vice versa) on Arches 140 LB rough watercolor paper. Ships flat, not rolled with plain white mat.
