Autumn Fire - ¼ Sheet Watercolor

Demonstration painting done during “Summer Snow”, a two week workshop I have been teaching for years at Snow College in Central Utah. This day we were working on using color contrast and value contrast to create a dominant area. Reference photo was from one I took last Fall in the mountains above Ephraim. 

¼ sheet watercolor painting (11" x 14" or vice versa) on Arches 140 LB rough watercolor paper. Ships flat, not rolled with plain white mat.
