'Autumnal'

A walk through the Autumn forest is a walk through patterns of light and dark, of shifting colors, and sunlight and shadow.  My camera recorded the colors and the leaves, but not the experience. This  painting is about the feeling of immersing myself in the Autumn light and crisp air.

¼ sheet watercolor painting (11" x 14" or vice versa) on Arches 140 LB rough watercolor paper. Ships flat, not rolled with plain white mat.
