Aspen Tango (Original 1/4 Sheet Watercolor)

“Aspen Tango”. Aspens always appear to me to be dancing. Perhaps it is their shimmering leaves, or the way light through the foliage dances on their trunks that makes them seem to be moving. That is the reason that I can’t paint them as cut-out white trunks. I must show the lost edges and the Lively limbs that twist and turn at odd angles.
