Virgin River Bend

I started this plein air painting by the river below the CliffRose Lodge during my last Zion workshop in November, 2023 but didn't get it finished. It was semi-abstracted and I wasn't quite sure how I wanted to complete it. I finally pulled it out and added the final details.
 1/2 sheet watercolor 14 X 21 inches, on Arches Rough 140 lb. paper.
