Waltzing Aspens

For the "Autumn Splendor" workshop we painted this group of aspen trees step by step. Everyone produced wonderful versions of this. I love aspens, and in the Fall their foliage turns to vivid yellow and orange, and their trunks reflect all the colors around them. I imagine that if we could watch them grow we would see them twist and gyrate as if they were dancing. To me, they are dancing to some kind of celestial music.
