Zion Splendor
This is the view from near the bridge at Court of the Patriarchs looking West.I did a drawing, and as I did the drawing I thought it would look great with Autumn colors. I also moved the river so that it led into the scene. I consider the drawing a second reality. Recently I found the drawing in one of my sketchbooks and decided to paint it. Upon finishing the painting (the third reality) I searched out the photo I had taken of the scene when I did the drawing to see what I had changed.
