Clothes lines have many memories pinned on them. I remember the feel of wet sheets trying to wrap me up with the wind, and Levis that were frozen stiff when I brought them in. These old wash baskets were common when I was a kid. My reference was an old 35mm slide I had taken years ago and had become bleached from being in the wrong place. But there was enough there to lead me to this.
